We can talk all day about the benefits of our program, but it doesn't mean nearly as much as hearing it from folks that have experienced it first-hand; folks just like you!

"I began my training at Champion in 2006, about 6 years old at the time. Now I am almost halfway through my senior year in high school.

Throughout my martial arts journey, I have come to find that the knowledge and capabilities one can gain from taekwondo are only limited by ones thinking. I can not stress how important it is to stick with a traditional martial art, you will reach excellence that you never knew you could achieve, and the Champion team will be right beside you. Master Prinkey is not a coach. He is not a teacher. He is a MENTOR that will pour into you and lead you to a path that makes you the best you can be. Yes, taekwondo is empowering and impressive. But as martial artists, we learn to let things go, to know that there is no shame in walking away from a fight or argument, and for this reason, we rarely ever will use our skills, and we hope we never need to. We learn to diffuse, to admit our faults and move on, to be honest, and have integrity. THESE lessons are the ones that stick with you, and have made me the young man I am today, on a quest to make the world a better place. One day, my legs won't work, and I won't be able to kick, or break boards, or even defend myself. But I will never lose the sense of self, the respect, the heart, and the morality that Master Prinkey has instilled in me.
THAT, is what you get here."

- Alex B, age 17, 3rd Degree Black Belt, Assistant Instructor

My daughter started out with the 2 week trial and hasn't stopped wanting to go since! She also says please and thank you and overall more respectful 😊

Sitting here watching my kid have the time of his life. Nothing makes him smile like being here.

Our 5 year old son loves this place. There is not one day where he has not been excited to go to class. When our 3 year old is ready, he too will attend Champion.

Awesome place for martial arts training in a challenging yet encouraging environment. Great for the whole family.

Excellent martial arts school with a positive atmosphere. The instructors are very knowledgeable and work well with the students. Our son has learned so much in the past 8 months.

I wouldn't be the man I am today without Champion! Former student of 8 years until I moved. Taught me confidence, perseverance, work ethic, respect, and leadership. Extremely positive, family friendly environment. Wide range of martial arts learned, not to mention it was always a great workout. Instructors are wonderful role-models.

Having known many friends that have been at Champion from white belt to black, we were eager to start our son there. Now, a few years later, he is still loving it, progressing steadily in his belt colors, and we are very pleased in how Master Prinkey has led the program. We appreciate his interest in each individual child, his shepherding heart and firm standards. His staff is also amazing with the kids!

The instructors know each student by name. I love that they care about what the students are doing outside of martial arts. My son enjoys the homeschool class and wishes that our schedule had room for the sparring class on Friday evenings.

My son absolutely loves Champion. There's a few instructors at each class, so your child gets one on one attention. Each child moves to the next belt at their own pace. It's an extremely positive atmosphere. It's wonderful to see all these children walking out with smiles on their face. I think if you try the two free weeks, you too will be regulars.

My son loves champion martial arts , the instructors there are very friendly and helpful, they know the students by name . I also like that they teach that its important to do well in school and at home .

Our son loves his instructors at Champion! They make each class fun and care greatly about each student.

My daughter has gained so much confidence and discipline from her time at CMA! She takes great pride in advancing and loves coming to every class! The intructors are awesome!!

The staff and owner are well educated ,friendly and mix up the routine to keep the kids motivated and having fun while learning!

"Champion Martials Arts is a fantastic place to learn Tae Kwon Do from the young to the young at heart. Master Prinkey and his leadership team are awesome. My daughter is 15 years old and has been a student for over 4 years. She loves Champion. Not only learning self-defense, but the friendships she has made over the years will last a lifetime. I would recommend Champion Martial Arts to anyone that is interested in learning self-discipline, respect, self-defense, getting in shape, or many of the other benefits that Champion has to offer."

- Melanie; daughter age 15, 2nd degree black belt

"Champion Martial Arts has been a great way for my son to learn valuable skills and self confidence. They keep the classes interesting so he doesn't get bored, and he's always challenged. (We are one year into our two year agreement) He still has time to play other sports (basketball and baseball), but they don't teach the same life lessons he gets at Champion." - Luke

"I started my taekwondo journey at Champion Martial Arts in May 2005. It is one of the best decisions I've made in my life.   I learned to never give up whenever I try something new and taekwondo is certainly something I never thought I could do and continue to practice.   Champion Martial Arts has played a tremendous role in shaping my physical, mental & spiritual attitude in life. Not only did I learn that I can do anything I set my mind & heart to do, but Champion has led me to my Christian life. I highly recommend Champion Martial Arts to young & old alike."

- Lynn, age fifty-ish, student for 10 years, 4th degree black belt

"My son Jude just loves his Karate class, the Little Ninja's! He looks forward to going each week and has learned so much already. We look forward to continuing on at Champion Martial Arts! " - Kristin, son age 5

"Champion Martial Arts is a wonderful place to learn martial arts and so much more. I started with Master Prinkey 20 years ago and now both my children are training with him. Martial Arts has contributed greatly to the person I have become both personally and professionally. Mr. Prinkey lives all the values that he teaches every day. All classes are upbeat, challenging, and exciting. Every member of the staff is cheering you on all the way. Positive motivation, encouragement, and feedback are a class standard by all instructors. Everyone is made to feel like one of the family! "- Amanda, daughter age 12, son age 7

"I started at CMA during the fathers train for free promotion. Shortly after earning yellow belt I brought my kids as well. Champion is an awesome place to get fit, make some great friends who will be a wonderful, positive influence on you and your children and learn some valuable martial arts skills. Master Prinkey and the leadership team provide a Christ centered, safe, and uplifting environment for teaching and learning skills that are useful in and out of the dojang. You will not be disappointed. Great instruction and great people!"Dave, daughter age 17, son age 8

"My son, who is 6 years old, absolutely LOVES this dojang. Every instructor is focused on the students and they all seem to enjoy what they do. They are very good with kids of every level. My son keeps asking what day it is because he knows the days he goes to class. The instructors make it fun but serious and everyone is involved. Champion Martial Arts is one place that I would definitely recommend to ANYONE who is looking for a place to learn. And I normally don't tell people where to go. I normally let people form their own opinion, but you must go here! "

- Mother of Nick, age 6

"My personal quest for excellence (unbeknownst to me at the time) began when I was in first grade. What started as a fun extracurricular activity (12 years ago) became part of my day-to-day life, and is my greatest achievement at this time, as both a student and a teacher. Taekwondo is a defensive art, meant to be used only if it's necessary… taekwondo is a tool for self-improvement, physically, socially, and mentally. Champion requires its students to be successful in school before martial arts; if a student is struggling at school, they are encouraged to take a break from taekwondo and focus on their grades. I have improved myself and gained the ability to improve the world. Champion Martial Arts is now part of my family. "

- Chris, age 18, 4th degree black belt

"I spent over 10 years training at Champion Martial Arts....Without a doubt some of the best years of my life. I learned more from this academy than I could ever put into a single testimonial. Not only the givens such as self-defense and respect; but also the somewhat, unexpected traits such as leadership, honesty, trust, integrity and discipline. Mr. Prinkey quickly became a dear friend of not only myself, but my family as well. Through my time training I met and trained with many other instructors and students from all over the country; I can say without a doubt that Mr. Prinkey is the Top Notch. Not only in his martial arts knowledge and capabilities; but also in the man he is. I am sad to say that I did have to end my time at Champion Martial Arts only due to my family and myself moving from Missouri to Connecticut. Otherwise, I would most definitely still be training to this day. If you are looking for an active sport that, frankly, can be useful in the right situations and teaches more than just what meets the eye.... then look no further, you have come across the best academy in the country. "

- Zach, 4th degree black belt, age 23

"Our son has thrived at Champion Martial Arts. He looks forward to his classes and it's taught him how to work hard to reach his goals. Master Prinkey does a great job of upholding standards while extending grace and care to each and every student. While our son is still of early elementary age, we have known multiple people who have studied under Master Prinkey from a young age till earning their black belts. We greatly respect their testimony regarding the excellence of the program, and we can see how it has helped shaped their strong, confident, yet humble characters. "

- Jeff & Chrysanthy, son age 7

"Champion Martial Arts has been great for my son. We started Champion when my son was 5 years old and very shy. He is now a thriving black belt at the age of 10,and is almost ready to test for his 2nd degree. Champion has helped to develop my son's confidence, respect, and a desire to work hard to achieve goals. The staff is wonderful. They are kind and compassionate, extremely talented with training and instruction, and dedicated to their job and their students. We plan to stay with Champion for many years to come. "

- Mary, son age 10

"We brought our son to Champion 5 years ago. He was having self-control and attention issues. We are forever thankful that we made the decision for him to continue his training. He is now 15 years old and a black belt with more confidence and discipline than we ever thought possible. Master Prinkey and his team are always positive and motivating, and we couldn't be prouder to be part of the Champion Family."
